BIG’s mission is to facilitate breast cancer research internationally by stimulating cooperation between its worldwide members. But not only. To fight disease in the most efficient way, global collaboration between BIG and all key players in the research process is essential. Collaboration is key for research, and BIG is all about collaboration!

Fondation NIF

The NIF Foundation for Aid to Humanitarian Projects is committed to the altruistic mission that defines it in its very essence.

The American Women's Club (AWCB) of Brussels is a social and philanthropical club founded in 1949 by several American women - but today about half of their members are from other nationalities. The DSZ – International Giving Foundation, founded by the Stifterverband, supports domestic private individuals, charitable organisations such as foundations and associations as well as companies based in Germany with charitable commitments abroad - without great administrative effort, legally secure and tax-deductible.

Eurofins Foundation

The Eurofins Foundation is a Public Interest Foundation, which was legally established in Belgium in September 2019. The objectives of the Eurofins Foundation have been proposed based on existing commitments of the global Eurofins community: contributing to global health and safety and protecting the environment.

Fondation contre le Cancer - Stichting tegen Kanker

Since 1924, the Cancer Foundation has been one of the major players in the fight against cancer on a national scale in Belgium. As an organisation that is both national and independent, and also as a centre of expertise, it can take a global and impartial look at the situation, identify priorities and effective actions to be implemented. In addition to its presence in all regions of the country, it is also part of a vast international network.

The CANDRIAM’s Institute for Sustainable Development provides aid to leading cancer research and prevention institutes in Europe and beyond. The international research network Breast International Group (BIG) is one of its partners. They organise fun challenges for all their employees to raise funds for breast cancer research.

Fanny Leeb

Having had breast cancer in 2018, singer Fanny Leeb decided to support research on the disease, which affects 1 in 8 women, by offering BIG against breast cancer one of her original compositions “Show them how it goes”.
