Pink is the New Black, was the theme of the dinner party this past 11 October at GESU

Intro text:

This 11 October, more than 250 people dressed in their very finest, with a touch of pink, joined the dinner and dance to benefit BIG against breast cancer.

The exceptional, desacralised setting of the GESU church mesmerised the participants, who did not hesitate to express their enthusiasm for the auction and to bring the dance floor alive until the wee hours of the morning.

Thanks to the dedication of the organising committee, our partners, the support of our sponsors and the generosity of the participants, we were able to raise €40 000. This amount is destined to support the study BIG Radio-Tuning, which aims to better identify, thanks to a genetic analysis, the patients who require radiotherapy after breast conserving surgery and those who can be spared, without increasing the risk of recurrence.

Around two in five women who are diagnosed could be affected by this study.

Through their presence, all guests have made a difference and contributed to the support of the patients in our studies. A BIG thank you.

We are looking forward to hosting and growing this event again in 2019.
