BIG against breast cancer unveiled its new platform moveforBIG.org to its audience at La Cour in Brussels on June 25.
MoveforBIG.org is a user-friendly platform designed to allow BIG’s advocates to create their own type of fundraising initiative by making a personal fundraising page. The fundraiser could be created for the occasion of a birthday, baby shower, in memoriam, sports challenge, corporate opportunity or by getting creative through any other means.

MoveforBIG.org’s pilot project was the 20km of Brussels, allowing participants to create their own page or through a team. Upon this success, the platform was expanded to include endless opportunities to mobilise one’s personal network.
During the launch party, supporters were presented a selection of BIG’s trials and studies to support and the platform’s possibilities were introduced. Participants enjoyed an intimate concert with the talented Alain Lanty, composer and pianist (who has written for or accompanied numerous artists (Marc Lavoine, Johnny Halliday, Vanessa Paradis and many others). The audience took turns taking centre stage during a playful karaoke hour.
