Clinical Trials Budget Manager
Function: Manage the budget activities of BIG HQ related to its various clinical trials, research program and grants, including related reports.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepares and participates in negotiating and following-up of BIG clinical research budgets, together with project teams.
- Responsible for the grants’ budget preparation and financial reporting
- Administers allotted clinical research funds in accordance with the budget, agreed upon milestones and approved procedures
- Participates in the negotiation of the financial aspects of contracts developed for BIG collaborations and clinical trials
- Proposes and helps to develop needed systems such as new templates (budget, reporting), SOPs, policies…
- Devises ways to improve the efficiency of the finance department in consultation with other team members
- Acts as a main financial contact for study / project partners and sponsors (BIG groups, pharmaceutical companies, foundations…).
Qualifications sought:
- At least a Bachelor‘s degree in finance
- 3 to 5 years of experience in managing budgets for clinical trials
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams, as well as independently
- Be highly organized with good time management skills to support multiple projects concurrently and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent capacity for analyzing data and numbers, with a particular attention to budget management is necessary
- Attention to detail and analytical approach
- Fluent spoken/written English, other languages are a plus
- Being positive, enthusiastic and energetic, with a “hands-on” approach
- Strong sense of responsibility and ethics
