The Nine Fundraising Evening

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the world, with Belgium having the highest incidence worldwide
This is the reason why The Nine will be hosting the BIG Against Breast Cancer fundraising evening in honour of World Cancer Day (February 4).
As part of BIG’s annual campaign, learn vital information on the fight against breast cancer; hear first-hand testimonials; and celebrate the progress & milestones met. All over a delicious cocktail dinner.
Speakers:
Dr Martine Piccart – Martine J. Piccart, M.D., Ph.D., is Honorary professor of oncology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and scientific director at the Institut Jules Bordet. Prof. Piccart, together with Prof. Aron Goldhirsch, created the Breast International Group (BIG) in 1996, which today unites 56 academic breast cancer research groups from around the world.
Mrs Jessica Parser – Jessica joined BIG’s Committee of Ambassadors when it was founded in 2014 and served as its first President from 2014 to 2017. As a member of the Ambassadors’ Strategic Committee, she provides precious support to the work of the BIG against breast cancer philanthropy team.
